[Wild Christian] Nature and the Season of Creation - A Rocha UK

Season of Creation 2024: To hope and act with creation

1 September marked the beginning of the Season of Creation, also known as Creationtide. It’s a period of the church calendar when churches pay special attention to the environment and creation care within their worship and teaching.

Over the next 5 weeks at A Rocha UK we’re digging deeper with the Season of Creation and inviting you to join us to explore the role you can play in caring for creation, and nurturing our land for the generations to come.

Did you know that the Season of Creation has roots in the Orthodox and Catholic traditions? Did you also know its final day, 4 October, is a special day for St Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of ecology? Click here to subscribe and read more from A Rocha UK.
