Platinum Jubilee Weekend

To celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, on Sunday 5 June, Zest will be held on the Big Stage outside at 9.30am, rather than in church. There will be songs, activities, stories and possibly even outdoor crafts! The emphasis will be on celebration as it is also Pentecost. If you are coming along bring any bells that you might have because at one point in the service we will ring out our bells to congratulate her Majesty! The 11am service will be back in church where we will celebrate the Jubilee appropriately for the Head of the Church of England. This will be a joint service, with our friends from the Methodist Church joining us. As at Zest, if you have any bells please bring them along to the 11am service. We are then hosting a catered lunch in the Parish Room for £5 (including a glass of bubbly). If you would like to join us, please let Hilary know before the day or via on the sign up sheet in church.
