Dear friends,
As we approach Easter, we do so in the knowledge that Jesus defeated death, and we can have resurrection hope. Life is renewed and refreshed even in the most unlikely places, and this could hardly be more true than at St John’s Methodist Church, Settle, our 42nd gold-awarded church. Their transformation of a tarmacked piece of land has made, in their words, ‘a dead space come alive’. St John’s is a very fitting example of how even a small, seemingly uninspiring area of land can be transformed for nature and people.
