Carol of the Seven hills

We are excited to share with you details of the upcoming performances of the Carol of the Seven Hills.

This is the Episcopal Area contribution to the City of Culture and it is a great opportunity to showcase the talent in our schools and churches.

The main narrative tells a fast-paced story of the district from the Industrial Revolution to the present day.

At each venue, interspersed through the main narrative, are three different performances from local people, particular to that place, giving each night a very localised flavour. This will mean the performance will be different in Bowling as it will be in Keighley, for example.

Rev Marianne Clough, who is co-producing the play, and Rev Kate Butler are working on follow-up materials on the subject of ‘I am with you’ to be used through the advent period.

In order to help cover the costs of this production, which has been specially written by Jonathan Hall (Radio 4) and directed by Julia Smith (RSC amongst others) we are needing to sell tickets, but at the bargain price of £5 for Adults and £2 for 16 and under.

Tickets are available via Eventbrite; just click on the relevant link below for a venue near you.
